Professional background & Ethos

Since 2007, I've shared knowledge of collections and fostered deeper understanding of archival resources by engaging with local communities, artists, writers, students and researchers across the globe. 

My passion is to share stories at the heart of collections by promoting meaningful dialogue about cultural content to cultivate enthusiasm and curiosity for history. 

 

To that end I have:

  • Identified grant opportunities to promote collections and led research so others could enjoy and relate to their heritage.

  • Collaborated with others to mitigate collection disasters, and ensure folks get to see their past into the future.

  • Promoted the utilization of collections for curatorial and interpretive strategies. 

  • Search for and established a cross-pollination of passionate people to collaborate with.

  • Directed how and by what means digital and traditional collections environments are navigated and accessed.
